Where's the poll option for "only an idiot would buy an iPhone two months before WWDC?"

Ok guys, you took on the "white is for girls only" guy, I get a shot at this one ;)

Here we go:

Two months before WWDC, you say? Are they going to start selling a new iPhone at WWDC? NO. Are they going to at least announce a new iPhone at WWDC? Well, if you read: THIS BLOG - NO.

So, what does WWDC have to do with a new iPhone? Nothing, in our collective knowledge here. You may think something different, but calling me an idiot simply because I don't live inside your brain is... not very smart, to put it mildly. :mad:

Edit: Yep. I'm buying one. My 3G is on it's last legs, I like white better than black, and "5" is 5 or 6 months away at least (and not promising much of an upgrade from 4 either)

ok 10.5 is loaded but Nap wont start. There is a message that pops up when I reboot that says:

ERROR: unable to initialize CHUD.framework - CHUD
function: utilGetOperatingSysteminfo()

I'm getting a new receiver for my living room that supports 5.1, but I've tried hooking up my MBP to my friend's receiver, but it only output 2 channels. The problem may have been the fact that I was using analog audio out. If I use a digital mini to Toslink cable to connect it, should I be able to get 5.1 audio out? I looked in the archives, but didn't find an answer.

Att on facebook said you must on the Att nation 450 &900 or the family 700 or higher to qualify and it's not cost additional for the service.

This will be interesting! If this is true then AT&T is also trying to get old subscribers off of their grandfathered plans......

in the german breakdown statistics from the ADAC the Fiat Panda is the second most reliable small car only being beaten by the toyota aygo by a fraction of a percent
comparing the breakdown statistics the Panda (and the toyota) is trouncing the competition from luxury or middle class brands all the way

i somehow suspect this passat is just a counter to the us tastes of camry etc. just like that rebadged minivan or that hideous pick up truck.. but hey the americans even bought the older jettas ... which had such a bad reputation in germany that they had to rename it ... twice

My question is - with the introduction of Thunderbolt through the Display Ports, do you guys think current model will be updated soon (so that the display support daisy chaining)?

I think Apple will deliver a solid update to Final Cut Pro. I think this lag was caused a bit by the transition to 64-bit and the fact that Apple didn't manage to get Quicktime X completed in time. I think the next version of FCP will be 64-bit and will come with a new version of Quicktime X which will finally put Quicktime 7 to rest.

japan now selling external Bluray RW drive for.....USD1000....
so, if MacPro have BTO option for this...
we got to pay around USD5000 for the fastest Mac, right?
its terrible...

i hope apple will release a nice external drive...though, insofar the only external optical drive from apple can trace back to the age of CD-Rom...
